The Content Engine helps you create and manage marketing content using AI. Plan your content strategy, maintain brand consistency, and generate blog posts, social media content, and more.

***

## What Can You Create?

* Blog posts and articles
* Social media posts
* Email newsletters
* Landing page copy
* Ad copy
* Video scripts
* And more!

***

## Understanding the Content Workflow

The Content Engine guides you through a strategic content creation process:

1. **Ideal Customer Profile** → Who are you creating content for?
2. **Content Strategy** → What topics will you cover?
3. **Brand Voice** → How should your content sound?
4. **Brand Images** → What visuals represent your brand?
5. **Campaigns** → How will you organize your content?
6. **Content** → The actual pieces you create

You can start anywhere, but working through these steps makes your content more effective.

***

## Step 1: Define Your Ideal Customer

Before creating content, know who you're creating it for.

### Creating a Customer Profile

1. Go to **Content Engine**
2. Click the **Ideal Customer Profile** tab
3. Click **Create Profile**
4. Fill in details about your target customer:
   * Demographics (age, location, job title)
   * Pain points (what problems do they have?)
   * Goals (what do they want to achieve?)
   * How they make decisions
   * Where they consume content
5. Save your profile

### Why This Matters

When AI generates content, it uses your customer profile to:

* Choose the right tone and language
* Address relevant pain points
* Focus on benefits that matter to them

***

## Step 2: Plan Your Content Strategy

A content strategy defines what you'll create and why.

### Creating a Strategy

1. Click the **Content Strategy** tab
2. Click **Create Strategy**
3. Define content pillars for each stage of your funnel:

**TOFU (Top of Funnel) - Awareness:**

* Educational content
* Industry trends
* General problem-solving

**MOFU (Middle of Funnel) - Consideration:**

* How-to guides
* Comparison content
* Case studies

**BOFU (Bottom of Funnel) - Decision:**

* Product demos
* Customer testimonials
* Pricing and ROI content

4. Save your strategy

### Using Your Strategy

When creating content, you can select which funnel stage it's for. The AI will adjust the messaging accordingly.

## Step 3: Establish Your Brand Voice

Your brand voice is how your content sounds - the personality, tone, and style.

   * **Writing style:** Simple, technical, storytelling, etc.
   * **Words to use:** Terminology and phrases you like
   * **Words to avoid:** Language that doesn't fit your brand
4. Save

### Example Brand Voice

```
Personality: Friendly expert
Tone: Warm but professional
Style: Clear and direct, avoid jargon
DO use:
- "You" and "your" to speak directly to readers
- Simple explanations for complex topics
## Tips for Better AI-Generated Content
### 1. Be Specific in Your Prompts
❌ "Write about marketing"
✅ "Write a 500-word blog post about 5 email marketing mistakes small businesses make, with tips to fix each one"
### 2. Provide Context
Tell the AI:
* Who the audience is
* What action you want readers to take
* What tone to use
* Any specific points to include or avoid
### 3. Always Edit AI Content
AI provides a great starting point, but always:
* Check facts and statistics
* Add your unique insights
* Ensure it matches your brand voice
* Remove anything that feels generic
### 4. Use Templates
If you create similar content regularly, save successful pieces as templates.
