# Site Audit

> Crawl your site and check every page for on-page SEO problems.

A site audit crawls your pages and reports what's wrong with them — missing titles, absent H1s, thin content, and other on-page issues that quietly cost you rankings.

## Running an Audit

1. Select your company from the sidebar
2. Go to **Content Engine** → **Site Audit**
3. Enter a **Domain**
4. Set **Max pages** — how far the crawl should go
5. Click **Run audit**

The crawl runs in the background and the page shows progress while it works. You can leave and come back. Cancelling an audit still keeps the findings for the pages it reached.

Use **Recent audits** to reload a previous run and compare.

## Reading the Results

**Issues found** lists each problem type with a severity and the number of affected pages. Click an issue to filter the pages table to just those pages, and **Clear filter** to go back.

The **Pages** table shows each crawled page's **URL**, **Title**, word count, **H1**, and issue count.

Work the issue list top-down by severity. One high-severity issue across forty pages is usually a template problem worth a single fix, not forty separate ones.

## Credits

An audit costs **25 credits as a base, plus 1 credit per page** crawled. **Max pages** is therefore your cost control, and it's capped at a per-run maximum shown in the form.

Crawling 100 pages costs 125 credits. If your site is large, audit the section you're working on rather than everything.

## Tips

1. **Start with a small crawl.** 25 pages usually surfaces the same template-level problems as 500.
2. **Fix templates, not pages.** Most repeated issues come from one layout.
3. **Re-audit after fixing** to confirm the change actually landed.
4. **Audit before a content push**, so new pages don't inherit an existing structural problem.
