# Apps

> Your home for the apps you've published and installed. Open any app right inside the platform — no code, no build step, just click and use.

## What Is the Apps Section?

The **Apps** section in the sidebar lists the apps available to you and your team:

* **Apps you've published** in [App Builder](/inbound-apps/app-builder)
* **Apps added for your company** — including linked external tools

It's the "use" side of apps. To *build or edit* an app, use [App Builder](/inbound-apps/app-builder); to *run* one, open it here.

## Opening an App

1. Select your company from the sidebar
2. Expand the **Apps** section
3. Click an app to open it in the main area

Each app shows its own icon and name. Some apps open in place; others may open in a new tab, depending on how they're set up.

## Apps vs. App Builder

| **Purpose**      | Create and edit apps                      | Open and use apps        |
| **What you see** | A full editor (chat, files, live preview) | The running app          |
| **Who uses it**  | You (and company members, if shared)      | Anyone with access       |
| **Build step**   | You click **Publish**                     | None — just open and use |

## Managing Which Apps Appear

Published apps show up here automatically based on their sharing settings and whether they're enabled for your company. To change an app itself — rename it, change its icon, adjust sharing, or publish a new version — open it in [App Builder](/inbound-apps/app-builder).
