## What Are Landing Pages?

Landing pages are single web pages for campaigns, sign-ups, and lead capture. You build them by chatting with an AI builder rather than writing code, connect a form to a Smart List to collect leads, and publish to a platform URL or your own custom domain.

***

## Creating a Landing Page

1. Select your company from the sidebar
2. Click **Landing Pages** (under Inbound)
3. Click **Create New Landing Page**
4. Fill in the details:
   * **Page Name** — e.g., "Summer Campaign"
   * **Description** — optional
   * **Brand Kit** — optional; applies your saved logo, colors, and styles
   * **Lead List** — optional; choose (or create) the Smart List that captures form submissions
5. Click **Create** to open the builder

***

## Building and Editing

The builder has three panels:

* **Chat (left)** — describe changes in plain language: "Add a headline and a sign-up form," "Make the buttons blue," "Add a testimonials section." The AI updates the page as you go.
* **Preview (center)** — a live view of the page that updates with each change.
* **Settings (right)** — edit the name, description, brand kit, lead list, and publish domain.

Click **Save** to keep your changes.

## Capturing Leads

If you attach a **Lead List** to a page, form submissions are saved as rows in that Smart List — ready for [Sequences](/workflow-features/sequences), [Marketing Campaigns](/workflow-features/marketing-campaigns), or any list action. Add or change the lead list any time from the builder's settings panel.

## Publishing

1. In the builder, click **Publish**
2. The page goes live and its status changes to **Published**
3. Share the public URL, or connect a custom domain (below)

To take a page down, use **Unpublish** — it returns to draft without deleting your work. Republish whenever you're ready.

### Custom Domains

You can publish to your own domain instead of the default URL:

1. Open the **Domains** tab and click **Add Domain**
2. Follow the DNS instructions and wait for the domain to show **Verified**
3. In a page's settings, choose that domain as the **Publish Domain**
4. Publish — your page is now live on your own domain

## Tips

* **Start with the goal.** Tell the builder what the page is *for* ("a webinar sign-up with name and email") before fine-tuning the design.
* **Attach a lead list early** so you never lose a submission while testing.
* **Preview on mobile.** Check how the page looks at a narrow width before publishing.
