  • Creative visual content

Creating Your First Video

Step 1: Open Video Generation

  1. Select your company from the sidebar
  2. Click Video (under the Content Engine menu)
  3. Click Generate Video (or the + button)

Step 2: Choose Your Approach

You have two main options: Text-to-Video: Describe what you want in words Image-to-Video: Animate a starting image

Step 3: For Text-to-Video

Write a detailed description of what you want to see:

Step 4: For Image-to-Video

  1. Click Add Image
  2. Upload a starting image or select from your library
  3. Describe how you want it to animate:

Step 5: Configure Settings

Choose your video options:
  • Duration: Varies by model (typically 4–30 seconds)
  • Aspect ratio: 16:9 (landscape), 9:16 (portrait/stories), 1:1 (square)
  • Resolution: 720p or 1080p
  • Model: Different AI models for different styles

Step 6: Generate

  1. Click Generate
  2. Wait for processing (can take 1-5 minutes)
  3. Preview your video when ready

Understanding Video Settings

Duration

Available durations depend on the model you pick. Common choices: Note: Longer videos take more time to generate and use more credits.

Resolution

Motion Settings

Some models offer additional controls:

Writing Great Video Prompts

Be Specific About Movement

The AI needs to know what should move and how: Vague: “A city scene” Specific: “Cars driving slowly down a city street at night, neon signs glowing, light rain falling, camera slowly panning right”

Include These Elements

Using Images to Start

Why Start from an Image?

  • More control over the visual style
  • Use your own product photos
  • Create consistent branded content
  • Animate existing artwork or designs

How to Use Image-to-Video

  1. Upload or select your starting image
  2. Describe what motion you want:
  3. Configure settings
  4. Generate

First Frame / Last Frame

Some models let you specify both the start and end:
  1. Upload a first frame (starting image)
  2. Upload a last frame (ending image)
  3. The AI creates a smooth transition between them

Video Processing Time

Video generation takes longer than images or audio: You can leave the page while waiting - check back later for your result.

Checking Status

Look for status indicators:
  • Generating: Still processing
  • Complete: Ready to view
  • Failed: Something went wrong (try again or adjust prompt)

Tips for Better Videos

1. Start Short

Generate 5-second clips first to test your prompt. Once you like the result, try longer versions.

2. Keep Movement Simple

AI handles simple, single-direction movement best:
  • Slow pan across a scene
  • Gradual zoom in
  • Single subject moving
Complex multi-element movement often has issues.

3. Be Patient

Video generation is computationally intensive. Give it time, and don’t generate the same thing multiple times simultaneously.

4. Iterate on Your Prompt

If results aren’t right:
  • Add more specific details
  • Simplify what you’re asking for
  • Try different style keywords
  • Use a different model

5. Consider Combining Clips

For longer videos:
  1. Generate multiple short clips
  2. Download them
  3. Combine in a video editor

Common Issues

”My video looks different than expected”

  • Add more descriptive detail
  • Specify the style explicitly
  • Try a different model
  • Reduce the number of moving elements

”Motion is too fast/slow”

  • Adjust the motion intensity setting
  • Add “slow” or “gentle” to your prompt
  • Shorter videos often have smoother motion

”Video generation failed”

  • Try a simpler prompt
  • Reduce video length
  • Check that your prompt doesn’t violate content policies
  • Try again later (might be high demand)

Frequently Asked Questions

Q: Can I add audio to generated videos? A: Generate video and audio separately, then combine in a video editor. Q: Why is video generation slow? A: Video requires generating many frames and is computationally intensive. It’s normal for it to take a few minutes. Q: Can I use these videos commercially? A: Yes, check your subscription terms for specific commercial use rights. Q: What’s the maximum video length? A: Typically 30 seconds per generation. For longer videos, generate multiple clips and combine them. Q: Can I generate videos with specific people? A: Generating realistic videos of specific real people isn’t supported for privacy and ethical reasons.
